We have just finished a 5 day tour from Da Lat to Hoi An with Kenny and Kevin . What an experience! They picked us up from our hotel the day before our departure to treat us to a cup of coffee, discuss our trip and get to know each other a little bit. On the morning of our trip they showed up at our hotel with two touring motorcycles, huge smiles and a lot of friendly chatter. Over the length of our tour, Kenny and Kevin brought us to places that you would never even hear about from other tour groups. We were shown some major tourist sites like waterfalls, monuments, small traditional villages, traditional long houses and plantations but also to tiny little operations. We got to witness how an artisan Tofu operation was run, how rice flour pancakes were made, how a single lady on the side of the street made a delicious pastry treat called Banh Ran and how silk worms produced the silk for clothing. Not to mention the incredible drives through the highlands of Vietnam, the long winding road through the mountainous area opened up to views that you would normally only see in movies. Even in heavy downpour, which they provided ponchos and jackets, the scenery was beautiful. You never see any of this kind scenery on the trains or buses in Vietnam. We ate the most amazing meals each day, from the super tasty two bowl noodles for breakfast to Com Ga (fried chicken and rice) for lunch to massive dinners that included roast pigs feet, Vietnamese BBQ beef and super green salads. We would have never known how locals eat without the knowledge Kenny and Kevin had. In most cases we were the only foreigner in the restaurants if not the town. We ate all our lunches and dinners together, we joked and talked about life in Vietnam accompanied with a few beers and a hold lot of 'Yoooooooo!' We are so happy that we booked with Dalat-easy riders and couldn't have asked for better drivers/guides then Kenny and Kevin. Oi troi oi!!!
